'Midnight Drawing' - a post mortem.
Saturday evening saw AMi’s ‘Midnight Drawing’ event happen at Sussex County Arts Club, in Brighton.
10 artists arrived in the dark Mews leading to the club to candlelight and a chalk VII insignia. Once inside, easels were set up, boards and paper, masking tape, charcoal and oils, and at 10pm, the evening began.
The 6 models began a 3 hour pose, to a soundtrack of ticking...

'Museum of the Muse'- Week 4: Emma
Saturday saw Emma curating the museum of the muse.
Instead of picking a particular muse or artist, Emma chose to create a series of poses based around hands and feet, as these directly inspire her work when life modelling.

'Museum of the Muse'- Week 3: Anna & Johanna
On Saturday, models Anna & Johanna created a world inspired by the work of art deco painter, Tamara De Lempicka, and explored the complex relationship between artist and model.
Johanna began the session by reading a story about the artist, and her relationship with a particular mysterious and nameless model, picked out of a crowd by Lempicka herself, whilst Anna posed next to her.

The Museum of the Muse: week 2, 'Intertwined'
Coming up this Saturday, it’s week 3 of the Museum of the Muse- life drawing with a difference;
Life models and artists Anna & Johanna will be creating a series of poses inspired by the celebrated portrait and figurative painter of the 1920’s Art Deco period, Tamara De Lempicka.
They will be posing as artist & model, eventually creating a series of intertwined poses.
