A great first week for the ‘Museum of the Muse’ at the Artist Residence hotel this evening.
Our muse for the evening was the Marchesa Luisa Caseti, modelled by artist Kate Shields.
Writer Emily Dubberley introduced the attendees to the Marchesa, and drawing took a turn into the dark side, with Occult-inspired poses, props and a candle lit atmosphere.
Some drawings below from the evening (please let me know if you don’t see your name or I’ve spelt you incorrectly):

From above; Thea Wilkins, Ed Silverton, Emma De Polnay, Mark Armitage, Bob Newton,Liz & Polly (didn’t get second names, sorry!)
Thanks to all who came, and to Atters for kindly lending us some antiques to use as props for the Museum.

NEXT WEEK:
Life model & dancer, Frankie, will be bringing ‘Daydreams, tragedy and hair’ to another unique session at the Museum of the Muse.

You can book a ticket here:
‘The Museum of the Muse- week 2’
Hurry though- we sold out very quickly for today’s session!
